Jean Rafferty lives in Scotland, United Kingdom, and ​​is an award winning journalist who has moved on to fiction, poetry and now children’s books.

She’s a cat fanatic whose two cats, Rosie and Coco, rule the household despite being mere moggies. Her favourite music is Italian opera, which she performs every night while cooking dinner.

A Glaswegian, she and her sister are moving to the Borders, where she hopes to go long walks, continue making her colourful bead jewellery, and find inspiration in the beautiful hills and rivers around her.
